About Mi PDF Tools

1. App overview

Mi PDF Tools is an Android document utility published by BK Sekulane. It provides on-device tools for viewing PDFs opened from Android, merging PDFs, splitting page ranges, rotating pages, adding drawn signature appearances and typed text appearances to PDFs, checking local signed-page history, compressing PDFs, converting text-based PDFs to Word documents without OCR, editing selected images, creating PDFs from picked images or user-captured document photos, previewing output, browsing output folders inside the app, and optionally generating shareable promo cards when you choose to share.

2. How the app works

The app is designed around user-selected files, Android file pickers and open-with intents, local preview and PDF viewing rendering, in-app browsing of saved output, device storage, and user-directed open, share, and export actions. It is not presented as a cloud drive, secure vault, enterprise records system, regulated archive, or long-term filing platform.

3. Ads, consent, and billing

This distribution is ad-supported and may use Google AdMob together with Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on region, consent status, account status, availability, and policy requirements, the app may show banner, native, interstitial, app-open, and optional rewarded ads. This release may also offer a Google Play one-time purchase that removes ads for the entitled Google Play account in this app.

4. Files, folders, and output

You choose the source files, output folders, file names, page settings, and downstream destinations. Generated files may be saved into the default Mi PDF Tools folder structure, including date and tool folders, or into a folder you explicitly choose through Android. Temporary cache files may be created for import, PDF viewing, preview, Google Play services document scanning, fallback camera capture handoff, document-edge scanning, image editing, and share-card rendering. When a PDF signing operation succeeds, the app may also keep a compressed local app-private image copy of the signed page with a date-and-time stamped filename so you can later compare it against your own signing history on that device.

5. Third-party licenses

The app uses Android, Google, AndroidX, Material Components, PDFBox Android, Android Image Cropper, Google Mobile Ads SDK, Google User Messaging Platform, Google Play Billing, Google Play services ML Kit Document Scanner, Kotlin runtime components, Bouncy Castle, and other third-party libraries and SDK components. Android, AndroidX, Material Components, PDFBox Android, Android Image Cropper, and many related runtime components are generally licensed under Apache License 2.0 unless their published notices state otherwise. Google SDKs and Google Play services are governed by Google's applicable SDK, Play, and service-specific terms. Bouncy Castle components are governed by the Bouncy Castle license.

6. User responsibility and limits

You remain responsible for your right to use the materials you process, for reviewing generated output before relying on it, and for deciding whether to sign, add text, open, share, export, or publish files or promotional share cards. You must not use the signing or text tools to impersonate another person, misrepresent authority, or add marks without permission. A completed operation or signed-page history entry does not guarantee layout preservation, signature preservation, filing acceptance, accessibility compliance, document authenticity, identity verification, or suitability for legal, government, employer, school, or archival requirements.
